The journal aims to disseminate the practice and theory of the School to the Gestalt community and professionals of different orientations. The journal stems from the deeply felt need to share experiences and work practices by framing them within contemporary theoretical discourse. We are interested in clinical work in the strict sense as well as the application of Gestalt in social and organizational contexts. It is our desire to host contributions from authors interested in creating contact with us. The SGT Gestalt School of Turin developed from the IBTG Institute of Bioenergetics and Gestalt Therapy founded in 1981. The historic Turin Institute directed by Mariano Pizzimenti is led by Italian and foreign trainers who were direct students of Isha Larry Bloomberg and Robert Hall. The SGT subsequently divided into two autonomous schools: The School of Gestalt Psychotherapy recognized by MIUR in 2001, which currently offers courses at locations in Turin and Udine and is part of FISIG, Federation of Italian Gestalt Schools. www.scuolapsicoterapiagestalt.it The School of Gestalt Counseling, associated with SICO Italian Society of Counseling, which offers courses at locations in Turin and Borgomanero. www.scuolacounselinggestalt.it
